Follow up classroom learnings with 6 hours On Country, learning awareness and skills to nourish cross cultural understanding whilst foraging for seafood and seasonal bushfoods. YOUTH Tours and experiences
Gubija - YOUTH Short tours and experiences and Wanarra - Longer trips and camps
School groups and young people can explore sacred and special sites in and around Karratha. Locations include Cossack, Yaburrara Hill, Ngarnjarli at Murujuga National Park and Hearson’s Cove with Ngurrangga Tours. Tours range from 1 hour to 4 hours and are a great excursion for young people to learn about Ngarluma Aboriginal Culture.
Prices are per head, with a minimum number of 4 (or cost thereof) and a maximum of 40 people. A hat, sunscreen, insect repellant, water and a camera is recommended. Full payment of 50% deposit at time of booking and remaining 50% to be payable within 2 weeks of experience completed. National Park fees included.
Ngurrangga also loves taking kids out bush! We offer day trips via our 4wd tagalong style package, or overnight camping trips where you can choose from 1 – 4 nights out bush with a tailor made itinerary. Highlights include fishing and swimming, sitting around the fire and making damper and sampling roo-tail stew whilst listening to Stories, bush survival skills.
Prices are fixed per regular 4WD. We have a minimum number of 4, or cost thereof, for tours to go ahead; with a maximum of 10 cars per booking. Each vehicle can have as many guests as they would like. Full payment or 50% deposit at time of booking and remaining 50% to payable within 2 weeks of experience completed.
